Senior Mechanical Engineer

* Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on PVC extrusion lines, including but not limited to extruders, dies, cooling systems, and auxiliary equipment. * Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for PVC extrusion machinery to prevent unexpected breakdowns and prolong equipment lifespan. * Conduct regular inspections, lubrication, and replacement of worn-out components as per manufacturer's guidelines and industry best practices. * Coordinate with purchasing department for sourcing spare parts and components required for repairs and upgrades. * Execute repairs, replacements, and upgrades on PVC extrusion equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. * Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance logs. * Generate reports on equipment performance, maintenance costs, and downtime analysis, providing insights for continuous improvement initiatives. * Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance activities, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues. * Provide training and technical support to maintenance staff and operators on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to address technical issues and drive process improvements.
