Job Purpose:
To manage, organize, and oversee all financial and accounting operations of the company, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports and statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards, laws, and internal policies, in order to support strategic decision-making and enhance financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting Operations
Oversee daily accounting activities and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
Review journal entries, reconciliations, and closing activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and policies.
2. Financial Reporting
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management.
Analyze financial results and provide insights and recommendations.
4. Compliance & Audit
Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes.
Review tax filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring proper internal controls.
Submit the Nassery report to the ASA - Accountability State Authority.
5. Policies & Process Improvement
Develop, implement, and update accounting policies and procedures.
Drive process improvements and support digital transformation initiatives.
Ensure adherence to internal controls and governance frameworks.
6. Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team.
Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and provide ongoing support.
Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.
7. Stakeholder Coordination
Collaborate with internal departments to support financial operations.
Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and legal advisors when required.
