Treasury Accountant

Monitor daily cash balances across bank accounts to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs. Prepare daily cash position reports to provide management with accurate visibility on available funds. Process supplier and expense payments through banks to ensure timely settlement of financial obligations. Record and track customer collections including international transfers to ensure accurate cash flow monitoring. Coordinate with the Senior Accountant regarding customer payments to ensure accurate customer balances. Coordinate foreign currency transactions to ensure proper execution and minimize exchange rate exposure. Follow up on Letters of Credit and bank guarantees to ensure smooth international trade transactions. Reconcile bank statements on a weekly basis to maintain accuracy between bank and accounting records. Coordinate with banks to resolve transaction discrepancies to prevent financial delays or penalties. Monitor loan schedules and financing facilities to ensure timely repayment and compliance with agreements. Prepare cash flow forecasts in coordination with finance and commercial teams to support financial planning. Maintain organized treasury documentation to support audit readiness and regulatory compliance. Support month end closing activities related to cash and bank accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
