- Lead and supervise the General Ledger team, providing guidance and performance management.
- Oversee all general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Coordinate with other accounting functions (AP, AR, and Treasury) to ensure proper recording of transactions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Continuously improve accounting processes and systems for better efficiency and accuracy.
