The HSE Officer will be responsible for supporting the HSE Supervisor in implementing the club's Health, Safety, and Quality culture across employees and members by conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective actions. The HSE Officer will also assist in the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures, monitor employee compliance

Key responsibilities:
Conduct daily safety inspections across the club facilities, identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions.
Assist in the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures.
Conduct safety training sessions for new and existing employees.
Maintain accurate records of safety training, safety incidents and safety equipment.
Assist in the investigation and reporting of safety incidents.
Monitor employee compliance with safety procedures.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety legislation and regulations.
Conduct and report on safety audits and inspections.
Communicate safety issues to the HSE Supervisor and the relevant department managers.
Assist in the development of safety policies and procedures for special events.
Assist in the creation of emergency response procedures and protocols.
Other duties as assigned by the HSE Supervisor.
Reporting:
Incident reports: documenting any incidents that occur within the club.
Accident reports: documenting any accidents or injuries that occur within the club.
Risk assessments and near miss reports: identifying and evaluating potential hazards and implementing measures to mitigate them.
Safety inspections: checking that equipment and facilities are in good condition and comply with safety standards.
Training records: documenting employee and player safety training and certification.
