Low Voltage Switchboards Mechanical Design Engineer

Design and develop mechanical layouts for Low Voltage (LV) switchboards and electrical panels. Prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and detailed part drawings. Develop busbar layouts and cable alley designs. Perform sheet metal design and structural strength considerations. Coordinate with electrical design engineers to ensure proper component placement. Select appropriate materials and hardware based on project requirements. Ensure compliance with IEC / local standards and internal quality guidelines. Optimize designs for cost, manufacturability, and ease of assembly. Support production team during fabrication and assembly stages. Address client comments and revise drawings as required.
