Procurement Senior Officer

The Procurement Senior Officer is responsible for managing purchasing activities, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and ensuring the timely procurement of goods and services at the best value while maintaining quality standards and compliance with company policies.  Implement processes and procedures for purchases whether direct orders or tenders. Analyze vendor quotes and select products from suppliers based on price and quality . Negotiate shipping terms and receiving goods with supplier to ensure on time delivery for critical items. Work with vendors to expedite delivery and resolving issues. Coordinate logistics activity “track shipments, follow up with customs broker.  Communicate with “Tax Authority, Pharmacy Department, Minsity of Health, …etc. to get the required approvals, etc. Follow up with Ministry of Finance to get primary and final exemption form VAT. Follow up the process of receiving the goods and paying to the vendor. Track the status of requests, contracts, and orders. Assist all departments and centers in developing and consolidating their requirements. Monitor all suppliers performance regarding their dealing with procurement department. Produce and maintain on spot reports .
