Purchasing Supervisor – Stainless Steel Manufacturing

Supervise all purchasing activities within a stainless steel production environment. Manage procurement of raw materials (stainless steel sheets, coils, components) and indirect materials (MRO, tools, spare parts, services). Ensure continuous supply to support production lines without interruption. Negotiate with local and international suppliers to achieve best prices and terms. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance. Coordinate closely with production, planning, warehouse, and quality departments. Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials. Prepare purchasing reports, cost analysis, and savings tracking. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and quality standards. Identify new sourcing opportunities and alternative materials.
