Avoiding product's shortage or overstocking
Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand
Assisting in the improvement in internal controls related to inventory
Verifying accurate standard costs
Monitoring inventory transactions
Preparing monthly journal entries as needed
Reporting non or slow moving items with the storekeeper & supply chain department
