Ammonia Refrigeration Head

Lead the operation, maintenance, and optimization of ammonia refrigeration systems to ensure continuous and efficient plant performance.  Ensure full compliance with safety standards, regulations, and best practices related to ammonia handling (e.g., OSHA, IIAR standards).  Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all refrigeration equipment, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and piping systems.  Monitor system performance and energy consumption, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvement and cost reduction.  Supervise and manage the refrigeration team (engineers, technicians, and operators), including task allocation, training, and performance evaluation.  Oversee troubleshooting and root cause analysis of system failures, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.  Coordinate with production and utilities teams to align refrigeration capacity with operational requirements.  Ensure proper documentation of system operations, maintenance records, and incident reports.  Lead emergency response procedures related to ammonia leaks or system failures, ensuring personnel and facility safety.  Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.  Support capital projects related to refrigeration systems, including upgrades, expansions, and new installations.  Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure system integrity, safety compliance, and operational excellence.  Drive continuous improvement initiatives in reliability, safety, and energy efficiency.
